I'm having a flash back to early voice chat days when The Guy and some drunk chick were talking about squirrel recipes.

Sent in by Timothy S. Barry.

~ squirrel legs, front or rear, amount depends upon how hungry you are
~ beer
~ garlic powder
~ pepper
~ salt
~ minced onion
~ hickory smoked bacon

Soak the legs in beer for 2 – 3 hours. Remove and drain.

Sprinkle to taste with garlic powder, pepper, salt and the minced onion.

Wrap each leg with bacon. Secure with toothpicks if necessary.

Place on hot grill. Cook over medium heat until cooked through.

Serve with your favorite sides.

Enjoy.

Squirrel Pizza
Sent in by Glenn Starkey.

~ 18 – 24 squirrel legs
~ 1 large onion, chopped
~ chicken broth
~ 1 jar pizza sauce
~ 1 loaf French bread
~ garlic butter
~ 2 lb’s Monterey jack cheese, divided
~ black pepper

Place squirrel legs in a crockpot. Add the onion and cover with chicken broth.

Cook until tender. Remove and let cool.

Once cool, remove meat from the bones.

Cut bread in half lengthwise and spread liberally with the butter.

Sprinkle both halves with 1 lb of the cheese.

Spread on the meat and sprinkle with pepper.

Spread on the sauce and then the rest of the cheese.

Place on baking sheet and cook at 325 degrees until hot and the cheese is melted.

Serve and enjoy.
