Anonymous Coward User ID: 612092 United States 05/12/2010 12:57 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A Strathclyde Police spokesman said: 'It is not the responsibility of the police to go into the water - it's the fire and rescue service.' Quoting: Anonymous Coward 960188^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^that is despicable beyond description. Damn Union Rules! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 968366 United States 05/12/2010 01:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The police had reason to believe the river posed an immediate threat to their well-being. Reasonable force, such as drawing pistols and opening fire on the river, the woman in the river, and all bystanders, would have been justified. |

No way to win in this world anymore. I know someone who saved the life of a child, only to get sued because the child was dead so long before he got to her, that she was brain damaged. He eventually won, after going into debt defending himself. It's things like that which make people scared to help others. No more requests in the "Strangest things" thread please. :hf: Past Lives requests thread: Thread: That Which Once Was: Past Lives |

I think they were wrong, lazy, and uncaring. But I also understand the fear some people have with the Gestapo government we have nowdays. Maybe the police on the scene were Pagans and believe that if the river took her, the river should keep her, as is the wish of Mother Earth, or the Kraken, or Thor, or Ragnar, or whatever... Total Protonic Reversal... |

Nyhee7 User ID: 958580 United States 05/12/2010 05:36 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is the reason the police are becoming more and more evil and care less and less for us. They are told to, by their masters. Sad thing is, they are building the foundations for their tombs, and they don't even realize it. Toronto, Canada Police headquarters, freemasonry symbolism, pyramids on roof, pyramid sculpture being built in entrance way, and other strange sites in and around there. [link to www.youtube.com] Also, this is a British Tv show series called Ashes to Ashes, depicting the masonic corruption in a police station. The first four minutes has a scene showing how it is done on the inside, and it is quite heinous. [link to www.youtube.com] |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 958580 United States 05/12/2010 05:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | WHAT WOULD HAVE REALLY POLISHED THIS STORY OFF IS IF THE POLICE DID THEIR JOB PROPERLY TO THE LETTER AND PREVENTED THE HERO FROM JUMPIN INTO THE WATER AND SAVING THE WOMAN. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 968584lmao Maybe they gave him a fine for disturbing the peace? In America, they would have given both the victim and the hero a ticket and maybe a taser or two, just to show who's boss. |
