I haven't had a cigarette since and it's been 3 months. Now I'm addicted to this metal electronic nicotine device.... Quoting: Digital RaptureSo when you inhale how much vapor do you get I tried one of my friends and it was ok it even sizzled but I could see the vapor but I couldn't tell until I blew it out. That part I didn't like. |

But acts like a cigarette ? Is there any nicotine involved, or is it more the action of smoking ? Anyone go back to smoking regular cigarettes after using this product ? |

User ID: 795128 United States 05/16/2010 09:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | OK, here's the deal. You drip the flavored nicotine liquid onto an atomizer that atomizes or vaporizes the liquid into a vapor in which you inhale. No carcinogens since you are not burning anything, no plant material, only liquid into vapor. Trust me, had I known you could produce so much vapor with e-cigarettes, I would have switched years ago Check out GrimmGreen's other videos, TONS of vaping videos. A previous boyfriend used to have a boss that smoked. My boyfriend didn't smoke. Everytime the boss went outside for a smoke break, my boyfriend would go outside too with his candy cigarette for a break too. The boss couldn't say anything about him taking so many breaks because he only took them at the same time as the boss. LOL. |

(OP) User ID: 942347 United States 05/17/2010 06:25 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | well so far so good....lol I know it's only been a few hours. For me the test was gonna be my first morning "smoke". It does take a little while to get used to. I like that I don't have to sit there and puff all day to get that buzz. For me one to three puffs does it and I'm good for a little while. I did read up on the "dribbling" into the atomizer but so far I haven't need to do that. It seems the "juice" must be a stronger mix for me then a regular cigarette. Another plus for me will be at work....I can sit at my desk and take a quickie and no one will know....no more rushing down the elevator to grab a few outside! Anonymous Coward User ID: 77 Hong Kong 05/17/2010 07:09 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My friend started smoking e cigarettes and he got a stroke a month later. Nicotine constricts your blood vessels. Quit smoking or die you fools. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 971743I have made a special journey to echo your report as a warning to the O/P: a fine young colleague of mine started using one of those things a couple of years ago and soon expired, 48 hours after a massive stroke from which he never recovered consciousness. At forty-two he was seventeen years younger than me. I continue to smoke roll-ups (Samson or Drum) with no worries, but I simply would not trust the Chinese manufacturers of that device to give a shit about the nicotine safety level concept. Remember,O/P, they could well be the same class of ignorant pricks who put melamine in baby milk. Maybe try another track - make your own 'patches.' All you need to do is mix some snuff with any kind of embrocation & put a Band-Aid over it, & peel that off when necessary. Seriously, O/P, I'm not trying to piss you off, but if I qwas one of your dependents, I'd like you to be well-insured. |

Try not to abuse the tool though, and stop using the tool from time to time to test your will power. Despite the E Cig, its still going to take will power. I just quit literally 2 months ago, today is day 62 without smoking. I used nicorette for 2 weeks (one box of gum) and chewed double spearmint for 2 weeks after that. Those helped, but what got me through it was will power and mental practices. Those practices were simply thoughts that were more important to me than my old joys of smoking. Here's my list that I would recite in my head when I wanted to smoke. The government jacks taxes on me like I'm a slave. I stink of smoke. My house, car, and clothes stink. My parents/friends/companion is disapointed. I watched 2 family members die of lung cancer. The manufacturer jacks prices on me to deal with new taxes. My insurance charges me 60 bucks a month as a smoker. I couldn't sing as well any more. I get a 5 dollar a day check for not smoking since I don't buy packs of smokes. Also, find replacement actions. I started jogging a mountain and focusing on accomplishing that. Most people don't have mountains, but there is plenty you can do, ride a bike, work out, anything that will relax you. Again, good luck, it can be done. |

Worked like a fucking charm and have been smoke-free for over 3 months. I've actually lost count since I've gotten a GF and started count that; 36 days and counting. Hell, I know people that complain about quitting and being around other smokers and gives them the idea they WANT a cigarette. Pfft, Piece of cake for me. I LIVE with smokers everyday, My mother, father and brother. Never once have to deal with thinking of smoking. Embrace absolution. |
flavapor User ID: 964647 United States 05/23/2010 11:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have been using a joye 510 model since June 28th 2009. I was a pack and a half a day smoker for over 20 years and have smoked for over 30 years. I started out with 18mg of nicotine, than went to 11mg, now I use 11 during the day and 6mg at night.(it can give you insomnia). In a little over a month from now I will have been smoke free for a year. My health is better, and this is the first winter that I didnt get a cold that turned into a 2 month cough. The cigarette itself costs about 50. bucks with 2 batteries that are rechargable, the charger, and 2 atomizers, which have to be replaced every 3-6 weeks at a cost of 7 bucks, the batteries are about 10 bucks and depending on how much you use them you will replace them every 3-4 months. The liquid is about 6 bucks for 10ml and will last you about a month. I LOVE MY ECIG!!! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 913153 United States 05/23/2010 11:20 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | add me to the list. I quit because of chronic smoker's cough. Started Ecigs because I got the throat hit I crave. I order from an American ejuice place that has great flavors and prices. I am at day 11 off of the cigarettes. My doctor has approved of them, and I have to stay off the smoking for health reasons. My cough is now just the occasional coughing up tar kind of cough. Yuck. Just glad to get it out of me. I dont stink anymore, in fact my kids like the smells now; coffee, cloves, cinnamon... even the tobacco flavored juice doesn't stink. As far as nicotine goes, I can often go a day or two with the no nicotine flavors. Mornings, I get a good dose of low levels of it, and really enjoy it. Just like the patch, you can wean down to very low levels of the stuff. Perhaps the lesser of two evils, I dont know. I just know it's great to be able to breathe better already and lose that hack I had. |

It was $75 for mine, but haven't used it much since I bought a pile of tobacco before the tax hit.. A few from work have used them and they seem to work. I think they take in more nicotine, but no tar and that is what will kill ya Good luck 6 lbs to go and I will be there |
