For the Korean situation to resolve itself WITHOUT war, doesn't somebody have to back down ?

Is this going to come down to Obama and the South Korean leader issuing a joint statement that they have proof that North Korea intentionally sunk a South Korean ship, but...never mind, we'll "let it go, THIS time".

And thus Obama will be perceived as an even WEAKER excuse for a leader than he is now.
