No way man! I didn't know Shiva was there. Speechless. Creates a pretty interesting shadow on the front of the building too, huh? Sorta like it's "stepping-through"... Quoting: mTsIt's being put in to preview the Denver Art Museum's King Tut exhibit. The exhibit runs June 29 through Jan. 9, 2011, and Anubis will be standing guard during that time. So it's just temporary then? The platform it is placed on doesn't look temporary. But I'll take some pics in the next couple of days and bump this thread.....it's the timing that is really getting to me Hi, mTs. I am a Denver Metro GLP person, also, and will be out at DIA this weekend. So, I will take a gander. Where I work, everyone looks about the blue horse as symbolic of the Broncos. I could almost buy that - except for those red eyes. What type of creatures have red eyes in literature and movies? Hmmm.... They could have used blue or yellow or white lights, instead. To sell the Bronco idea, they could have even used orange lights. But no, they used red. I "hmmmm..." my way through life, wondering. Now Anubis (a mythic god I am rather fond of, being a dog freak) seems to be on walkabout and will now vacation ALSO at DIA. He could have been placed in any number of places around the Metro area; but no, it has to be DIA - again. So, the our country has gone insane; and the demon horse and Anubis are lounging at DIA, which is one very wierd place in my experience. Some of the construction people I knew who worked on different phases of DIA always would clam up, not talk, would leave if pressed. The last guy i know from those days still won't talk; he will just shake his head "no." Is Anubis temporary? Well, did Anubis leave New York, or is he still there, too? |

I feel what you mean... it's easy to accept the crazyhorse as a Broncos thing, but never saw really saw the Broncos thing as a demonic thing though. it does seem pretty insane. also the dia construction thing, it does seem weird, and the heavy use of contractors that are kept isolated and refreshed so often that many really has no idea of the overall picture of the systems and layout of that place. if you knew some guys that worked at that place early on, that's awesome.. but yeah very weird how they clam up like that. |
