And yet you probably drive a gasoline powered car. It all starts with us not them. actually, i don't drive...i don't have depth perception or binocular vision so i can't. I carpool to work, walk or ride my bike wherever i can. thanks for trying to generalize though  Tessa, s/he is not generalizing. Look in your home. How much plastic do you see? All made from petro products. I'm going to say this again and say it loud: IF NOT FOR CONSUMERS DEMANDING PRODUCT, OIL COMPANIES WOULD NOT BE SEARCHING FOR SUPPLY AT ANY COST.. Please go sell your car, your bicycle, disconnect all your electricity, and you can't go solar-wind or anyother electricity producing system because at least some part of them all willhave been produced using oil, also empty you medicine cabinet, and get rid of all the plastic in your house and yard, including your eyeglasses if you wear them. Oh, and your computer, do you have any idea how much electrical energy and oil product went into building your computer, ipod, iphone, ipad, walkman, DVD's CDs... etc? So times I wish the Oil companies would just go completely to a no production mode for an entire year... now that would really wake the entire world up.
