We may also assume that a royalty would have been paid into the US Treasury on each and every gallon pumped out of the well? So, who's paying the royalties on each and every one of those wasted gallons that are gonna end up killing the oceans now? Some senator should start pitching a fit over the lost taxed revenues, the wasting of the resource that is/was the oil. |
