Wicked sunburn and now night sweats,,, bad night sweats,,,anyone else?
Well I looked it up and just thought on a whim I would ask here to solidify what I have read.

Went salt water fishing this past weekend,

3 days on our boat roughly 10 hrs each day

used SPF 40 or better multiple times daily wore my sunblocking hat (with a tail on it)

Still ended up getting fried by the sun,, It seems more powerful this year, like a burn was inevitable.

Got home on Monday afternoon and I can handle the peel

BUT !!!

I started having real bad night sweats,,, I mean BAD,, literally soaking me and the covers. Feeling weak and wasted. I am 52 ,, mebbee the "change of life" is hitting me along with the sun but I have NEVER been this affected,

Anyone else here have this night sweat thing?
Each time a person stands for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he or she sends forth a tiny ripple of hope. And crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance. Few are willing to embrace the disapproval of their fellows, the censure of their colleagues, the wrath of their society. Moral courage is a rarer commodity than bravery in battle or great intelligence. Yet it is the one essential vital quality for those who seek to change a world that yields most painfully to change. Yes I have night sweats but it from "the change of life" when it first started happening luckly it was in the middle of winter nothing like standing outside in shorts and a tshirt at 3am sweating in 0degree weather. Go to the store they have over the counter meds you can take estavan or something like that take it and it calms it down. But as for the sunburn ya I rarely get bad burns but this year has been awful my sunburn lasted 4days and it was bad I have not ever been burned like that before. Mine only last a day or so an stops hurting sometimes I peel but then I don't burn again all summer.

Dude sounds like a normal weekend for me :-)
Drink heeps of water. No more than 2 lt before sleep.
Use aloe vera and menthl cream. If will feel like your walking into a fridge. Experience from Thailand and Queensland.
BTW WITH ALOE there is no peeling. Just a brown tan. Enjy.

I have been keeping hydrated, We didn't even have any alcohol on the boat this year. Crap,,, we hardly drank any at all the whole time. SO I cannot blame it on being drunk or whatever.
Mebbee is it a combination of things going on. I will ride it out one more night then off to the Dr I will go. These night sweats really bug me. I never had this happen.

The sun is stronger. Now I feel burned sitting in my car at the same stop light that has been there for years.

No, I'm fine thanks...
Poor people do poor people things, and rich people do rich people things.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!

when you rob Paul to give to Peter ... ... ... you will always get Peters support!

OP I bet any money you did not keep your fluid intake up. That probably made it worse. You are sunburnt, and sun stroked, and chronically dehydrated.

Ditto to the "sun poisoning" theory.

Not a hell of a lot you can do about it but suffer through it. Been there; done that.

FWIW, you might drink hard water instead of filtered water. Calcium and such... Let it sit in the glass for a spell so the chlorine will evaporate out of it because that might make your tummy wheezy in your current condition.

It's heat stroke.

Had it many, many times unfortunately - for whatever reason, my body doesn't cool off properly. At least you can sweat - but watch for dehydration.

I find what helps most is drinking soda water - there's extra minerals and salts to help you keep hydrated.

Crank up the A/C too if you have it, or have a fan run right on you.

If you have episodes of vomiting get to a hospital, but otherwise, just take some cool (not cold) baths or showers to cool down too.
