I mean there is not really much out there on sun poidoning on the net. Quoting: HitndahedfredWent salt water fishing this past weekend, 3 days on our boat roughly 10 hrs each day used SPF 40 or better multiple times daily wore my sunblocking hat (with a tail on it) Still ended up getting fried by the sun,, It seems more powerful this year, like a burn was inevitable. Got home on Monday afternoon and I can handle the peel BUT !!! I started having real bad night sweats,,, I mean BAD,, literally soaking me and the covers. Feeling weak and wasted. I am 52 ,, mebbee the "change of life" is hitting me along with the sun but I have NEVER been this affected, Anyone else here have this night sweat thing? Dude sounds like a normal weekend for me :-) Drink heeps of water. No more than 2 lt before sleep. Use aloe vera and menthl cream. If will feel like your walking into a fridge. Experience from Thailand and Queensland. BTW WITH ALOE there is no peeling. Just a brown tan. Enjy. |

SO I cannot blame it on being drunk or whatever. Mebbee is it a combination of things going on. I will ride it out one more night then off to the Dr I will go. These night sweats really bug me. BRIEF AND TO THE POINT
User ID: 381742 United States 06/23/2010 09:35 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | No, I'm fine thanks... Poor people do poor people things, and rich people do rich people things. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it! when you rob Paul to give to Peter ... ... ... you will always get Peters support! :Brieffromnativea: |

FWIW, you might drink hard water instead of filtered water. Calcium and such... Let it sit in the glass for a spell so the chlorine will evaporate out of it because that might make your tummy wheezy in your current condition. |

At least you can sweat - but watch for dehydration. I find what helps most is drinking soda water - there's extra minerals and salts to help you keep hydrated. Crank up the A/C too if you have it, or have a fan run right on you. If you have episodes of vomiting get to a hospital, but otherwise, just take some cool (not cold) baths or showers to cool down too.
