The Iranian Navy rescued all parties. Both ships are currently adrift. (at time of writing this) Screams of a false flag event... So watch the media, note who is saying what and get an insight into how they manipulate us early on. Kokuka Courageous Flying a Panama flag Managed by BSM ship management (based in Singapore) Owned by Kokuka Sangyo (based in Japan) A managed goods carrier that was transporting methanol (cargo is intact) Was en route to Singapore 21 sailors on board. All evacuated, 1 injured, 20 unharmed. Rescued by Iranian Navy The vessel is about 70 nautical miles from Fujairah and about 14 nautical miles from the coast of Iran BSM says the ship remains in the area and is not in danger of sinking Front Altair Flying a Marshall Islands flag Managed by Dubai-based International Tanker Management Owned by Bermuda-based Frontline An oil tanker, which was transporting naphtha (a type of crude oil) Was en route to Taiwan 23 sailors on board. All evacuated, 23 unharmed. Rescued by Iranian Navy Naptha is a flammable liquid hydrocarbon mixture. Mixtures labelled naphtha have been produced from natural gas condensates, petroleum distillates, and the distillation of coal tar and peat. In different industries and regions naphtha may also be crude oil or refined products such as kerosene. It's also used to ripen fruit. |

That's triple the usual number, NOAA says A total of 261 bottlenose dolphins were found stranded between Louisiana and the Florida Panhandle, officials said. Authorities discovered the dolphins between February 1 and May 31. A majority of them -- 98% -- were dead, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. That number is "three times the historical average in the northern gulf," said Erin Fougères, a marine mammal stranding program administrator for NOAA. Because of the dolphin deaths and strandings, the agency declared an unusual mortality event. "We are seeing higher numbers in Mississippi and Louisiana and we are concerned about fresh water," Fougères said. "It's an exceptionally wet winter for the entire United States and it's the wettest winter in the Mississippi Valley in the past 124 years." [link to edition.cnn.com (secure)] Oh man, that's so sad. The team's findings, published in mSphere, an open-access journal of the American Society for Microbiology, reveal that the oil and gas industry may need new ways to monitor and mitigate sulfide-producing bacteria in fractured shales. [link to www.bloomberg.com (secure)] ------------------------------------ It should however, be noted that the Gulf of Mexico waters are continuously exposed to a background level of hydrocarbons vented by numerous hydrocarbon seeps, which emit hydrocarbon gas into the overlaying water column (WC) as bubble plumes which are often coated with a thin layer of oil (MacDonald et al., 2002; Leifer and MacDonald, 2003; Solomon et al., 2009). According to some estimates, seepage in the Gulf of Mexico, from over 200 active seeps, contributes oil at a high rate of 0.4–1.1 × 108 L/year (Mitchell et al., 1999). As a corollary, this “natural” oil likely primes the environment continuously, by selectively enriching native microorganisms with the ability to metabolize and mineralize some of this oil. Therefore, it is very likely that a suite of native hydrocarbon-degrading bacteria exist in different niches of the Gulf of Mexico, and as reported previously responded rapidly to the large volume of oil released by the DWH spill (Hazen et al., 2010; Redmond and Valentine, 2012; Dubinsky et al., 2013; Gutierrez et al., 2013). User ID: 1471702 United States 06/16/2019 03:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hey guys look at this!! This is the tantalizing promise of gene therapies, the potential cures for dozens of once-incurable illnesses. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued its first approval of a systemic gene therapy, a Novartis AG treatment for spinal muscular atrophy, on May 24 and says it expects to approve 10 to 20 therapies a year starting in 2025. There are more than 800 trials under way, targeting diseases including rare metabolic disorders, sickle cell anemia, hemophilia, and Parkinson’s. As the list grows, such treatments have the potential to fundamentally remake the health-care system at every level. There are two big caveats. First, most studies haven’t run longer than a few years, so it’s impossible to know yet whether the therapies will remain effective for life, help everyone the same, or yield side effects decades in the future. Only about 150 children have received the Novartis muscle treatment, Zolgensma... The other problem is cost: These treatments are expected to run several million dollars a pop. Zolgensma is the most expensive drug ever approved in the U.S., with a price tag of $2.1 million for a one-time infusion [link to www.bloomberg.com (secure)] Last Edited by Digital mix guy Spock on 06/16/2019 03:25 PM Have no fear, Spock is here!!! Unlike the familiar ice found in your freezer or at the north pole, superionic ice is black and hot. A cube of it would weigh four times as much as a normal one. It was first theoretically predicted more than 30 years ago, and although it has never been seen until now, scientists think it might be among the most abundant forms of water in the universe.....
