Quoting: ^TrInItY^damn you're fucked then lol but A for effort seriously fitting of the mask is very important I'd consider some U.S. masks We didn't have a problem adjusting them to fit tightly. They seem to seal really good, the pics just don't show that since it was just a quick toss on to show kind of thing. Jesus is the man! |

I can take another pic to show in a bit I guess. Jesus is the man! |

[link to www.envirosafetyproducts.com] One fit, one was too small, so we re-ordered a larger one. Fit is critical. Anonymous Coward User ID: 1016504 United States 06/27/2010 12:46 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | These are the Finnish gas masks that you can buy on eBay. They are really well made! It uses standard 40mm NBC (nuclear, biological, chemical) filters. I bought an extra four filters and might get more later. They are designed to last 8 hours before you need to replace them, so having a few extras on hand might be a good idea, especially with all this lovely methane coming at us. Quoting: Follower of YHWHI bought four for us (me, my wife, mom, and her fiance): :gas_masks: This is me: :Michael_gas_mask: and this is my lovely wife Lori: :Lori_gas_mask: I have the same ones but I purchased a NATO adapter so I can fit Up to date filters... not old pieces of junk like those expired filters. Some filters that have expired years ago can be more harmful to breath through than what you're tying to filter out. Check out: [link to www.approvedgasmasks.com] for good filters. Expensive but worth it..... I have 2 masks and 4 filters as part of my bug-out-bag. |

I guess maybe there are some of them that need to filter certain things? I need to look at that site. Thanks for the info. Jesus is the man! |

And this is what it looks like with one of the filters snapped on the side: Because the filters apply to particular threats, it's hard to be ready for anything. Maybe technology will bring us a panacea filter, soon. We felt like procuring masks was paying homage to the won't-need-it-gods. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Eschewing Obfuscation |
