Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1022126If it has it's head and neck straight out, it's a crane. Either way, having a crane/heron/stork fly over your house is usually considered good luck. Thanks, it was a crane then. It had a long neck...it was beautiful and it was big....! I wanted to take a picture but it was gone before I got back outside. |

I thought that it had such a prehistoric look to it. I took the time to spend over an hour of my day watching it through binoculars. I was fascinated. It adds to the timelessness of creation. For me. And it's absolute beauty. I have had 4 or 5 different kinds of large birds fly over the last couple of weeks. One was a creamy peach color I thought "No way that could be a flamingo?" Kind of freaked me out I'm in NC....The birds in general seem to be coming a bit closer then they ever have been. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1026140 United States 07/05/2010 05:12 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yesterday I was in my back yard and a huge crane (bird) flew over my house. He was so interesting looking that I run to the side of the house to watch him. As I looked up at him he slows down and makes a small (about 10 feet across) circle in the air (thought that was strange) and then keeps flying in the same direction he was going in the first place. Just wondered if anyone knew of any meaning to this...(just for the fun of it)... Quoting: TVZ 1011620He was delivering a baby but got confused when he saw you! |
