Thanks OP, I haven't had a laugh like this all night! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1013290I can fully understand, science can be a real circus at times. Take for instance this new star the Priests of Science found that is allegedly more powerful the our own sun. [link to www.cnn.com] This new star would have a sky blue circle with a diameter bigger then 107.62 times like that of our sun does around it. I too laughed out loud. |

OP, you do realize that the light you are seeing from the stars you are looking at is exactly what the "sky blue" light from our star/sun is right? The only reason the light appears small from the other stars at night is because of their distance from earth. You can't possibly be this stupid can you? |

I was going to actually write a response to this, however I'm just going to hope that this post was made as a joke and that the OP really isn't THAT stupid. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1040766i read the OP's post once and i was like....huh? [link to www.uwgb.edu] Pretend the sun in the diagram is one of the many stars we see at night. The inner space of the circular orbital plane of the earth is completely illuminated by the sun the color of our Midday sky. We'd see these illuminated sky blue circles around each and every star were they like our sun. Thank-you for reading. |

Our sun is encircled by sky blue colored outer-space. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1010900From the Sun to the earth all of the millions of miles of outer-space in between is the color of our blue sky because the sunlight illuminates all of that outer space to reach the earth. We only see the nighttime sky on account of our Pinocchio-axis when earth spins like top and the area you live on rotates. The same would be for all the stars if they were indeed like our sun, and shine with the same intense light. Every star/sun would illuminate the same millions and millions of miles diameter-wide of Space around that star/sun. Sorry but when I look at the stars I don't see sky blue circles around them, and Stars don't shine yellow like the sun either, they shine white like the Moon. Oh and the monster new star these fruit-loops just found was the inspiration for writing this thread. Thank-you for reading. Brilliant!!! |

The Earth's atmosphere is around the Earth and not the sun you simpleton! The Atmosphere (air) gets thinner and thinner the higher up you go, and at its heights it disappears into Space. How does this thinning Atmosphere give our sky the color blue if at its heights it completely disappears? How does the earth have an Atmosphere if it disappears? Air is most dense at ground level, by your statement, the earth's Atmosphere is the ground. The color of outer space from the Sun to the earth is sky blue. |
