In a horrible mood today
What's up guys and girls. I want to vent for a few minutes. I am in a horrible mood today. It's my work. Having a target on my back for defending the company, and all the managers act like because I was defending the company that now they are investigating it. They glare at me, and people talk about it. I heard a manager saying that he wants to "do stuff" to one of my friends that works there, and that also pissed me off. I'm in the mood to go to war with the entire corporation and management.

Do you have anyone in upper management you can go to and talk to? Maybe explain yourself? Hoping your day, week gets better!

Quitting would be too easy. They want to fire me, they want me to quit. Not gonna do that, I'm gonna beat them at their own game.
Sure I'm playing with fire. It's worth it, the company needs to change. Drastically. I will fight for the people there, not the management, but the people, and I don't care what my end result is, as long as the current order, is gone

If you are so unhappy with your job, can you resign and find something that makes you happy? I spent years at a job that stressed me out so much, and looking back, I don't know why I didn't walk away sooner hf

I'm in no position of responsibility. I feel it is my responsibility to look after my fellow associates. The corporate world is one of corruption and management eats the food from their hands. They push whatever they want on the employees.

Hang in there...if you know you're doing the right thing it'll go your way in the end. And remember that nothing pisses off "instigators" more than someone who refuses to take the bait.

I would like to expand on my last comment. "The right thing." In truth, there is no 'right thing' there is only belief, and truth, and there is instinct. If you believe something to be true, follow that instinct first, as you never know where exactly that may lead you.

You are in a horrible mood because you understand your life is crumbling before your eyes..I feel it is my responsibility to look after my fellow associates.

WHAT THE REALITY..they will ditch and run like all the cockroaches caught up in mismanagement..Your responsibility after informing your co-workers is to protect your own family first....sorry but you may be left empty-handed if you decide to exit..FIRST and IMPORTANT NEVER WORK FOR AN EMPLOYER THAT REQUIRES YOU TO COMPRIMISE YOUR PRINCIPLES!!!

Naive? I believe in a day when someone can go to work, and not have to worry about having a target on their back. Not having to worry about nasty comments from managers wanting to "do things" to them, (which is sexual and verbal harassment). Sure you can say what you want. You are entitled to your words. You have free speech. What would you do if that was taken from you? That is what I'm speaking for, if we don't speak out, we won't be able to speak at all.

I am no expert on corporate environment so I will refer you to this, which you may find beneficial. Start on page 7.

It is a short read, and I think #s 3, 4,6, 10 particularly apply to you. Give it a go.

[link to www.scribd.com]

Also find your center of strength and respond from there. Sometimes not resisting may be a better approach, in that if you resist, the problem may persist. Take the Aikido approach - yield and then when dust settles, leave. Leave, if you need to, but not now, not in a cloud. peace
