I too saw the headline of that on a mainstream site earlier today and just couldn't understand it.

I've never watched the show and don't plan to even though I'm considered part of that NICHE demographic audience.

Nevertheless, it seems strange and highly odd to have an entire D LIST cast from an MTV *faux* reality show have the honors on Wall Street. It kinda plays into the theme that the whole illusion of our monetary system is a JOKE.

8 Months Ago is OLD news. New News is that The Jersey Shore has made MTV a ton of $ since then and filming is to begin in Italy in a few weeks.
Perhaps one can hope Italy will "deal with them" appropriately.
