You don't vaccinate against plague, you treat with antibiotics.

The pneumonic form is extremely contagious, person to person, and could lead to true doom for isolated villages with no medical facilities nearby.

Agreed about the illegals. I used to live in Phoenix and worked in the healthcare industry (both sides - insurance and provider).

Both of my children got infected with RSV at daycare because the illegal working there (**wink, wink...no she's not illegal**wink, wink, she just can't speak or write English) brought her infant in that had RSV that was in the crib next to our youngest son.

Of course I did not have my children go back while they were infectious (I had to take an unpaid week off to care for my children); we also went to the pediatrician, paid for the nebulizer and got up in the middle night.
