A democrat/socialist friend of mine today explained to me that just 5% of the people in this country now own 100% of the farmland.
He said that farmland should be siezed by the state and turned into communal collective farms.

The reason only 5 percent of people own farmland is because almost all other farms were driven out of business by liberal, big government interference and turned into housing tracts, highways, airports and subdivisions. Most of the farmers who are left are struggling to get by.
The other 95 percent are city and burb dwellers who sit on their fat ass all day playing Wii and Xbox and think their food magically appears in the grocery store. Those idiots wouldn't lift a finger to plow up fields, plant crops and harvest the food when it's ready.
And you wonder why John Titor spoke of a civil war between country dwellers and city people.
When the nuke war happens in 2019, country dwellers will win by default when all the ungrateful, lazy city dwellers are vaporized.
