Gold Comex?
I do not know too much about the gold comex or it's charts. However, just went to yahoo finance and accidentally clicked gold. It shows a spike above 3,000 around 11 am. To anybody with abit of knowledge about the gold market, is this a glitch, am I reading the chart wrong, or did the comex just spike above 3,000?

Comex has admittedly paid out price +25% to customers demanding delivery.

What if they are out and a big player demanded delivery and he/she wouldn't take that little 25%....

That is one of the theories that I have heard that could cause gold to skyrocket. Not enough actual gold to meet the demand for the amount of paper gold.
