Quoting: Rex KhristosThis seemed like a good idea, in case it we make a bee-line from A to B. Recognizing roads, creeks, and mountain tops might be the only way to navigate when SHTF. Good idea. Ultimately if you do have to relocate it'll be in one direction. Know which direction that is and how to i identify it if a compass is not a available.....make a compass available! Disregard this info in a pole shift... When we remember we are all mad, the mysteries disappear and life stands explained. Mark Twain |

With pictures? I haven't been able to find one yet. Quoting: Rev. Mother NeneShaloha! Not really...there are a few okay books...but most of what I've learned has come from hands-on walks with La'au Lapa'au Kahunas... I'd say look up some local courses. Mother NeneI forgot about the hibiscus, they're everywhere. Haven't found any macnuts nearby. I'm on the edge of 190 acres of raw, wild land. On one of my hikes, I found the remains of ancient terraces so there has got to be wild taro and other edibles nearby. You probably are already aware but taro has to be prepared to avoid mouth and throat irritation. Like an above poster who had to move from a familiar territory, I had everything set in Florida -- including taro plants -- but now I'm in an alien environment and not comfortable with the water situation where I'm at now. |
