The group's creation was announced in 2009, with the full support of President Obama. Quoting: CypherShit. Where's a CIA drone when you really need one? |

I thought this stuff only existed in the Sci-Fi books I read and the movies I watch. Quoting: KhimI can imagine that GLP is high on their list of potential "targets".. it should be interesting to see what changes take place after Oct. 1st..I tend to think that whatever changes there will be will be gradual but then again who knows? [link to www.wired.com] President Obama’s pick to be the 4-star general at the head of the military’s new computer security and cyberwar command sailed through a Senate confirmation hearing Thursday, while revealing virtually nothing about the plans for the new command. <snip> Thursday’s public hearings were more of a show than anything else. Nearly all of Alexander’s real answers to the committee’s written questions were filed in a classified response, including seemingly innocuous queries like, “What are your priorities for the U.S. Cyber Command?” Last Edited by RTS on 09/04/2010 11:41 AM |

Numerous threads on this with ports, etc. From what I can gather this is the deployment of string recognition software at the ISP level. Something similar to Snort Intrusion Detection System. Yes ANY string can be sniffed for... I guess this would make up for the OS's/systems they couldn't commandeer with their backdoor system. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1026437 United States 09/04/2010 11:27 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | :sheepguy1: Quoting: Cypher[link to pajamasmedia.com] When Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn led the domestic terrorist group Weather Underground in 1969, a chance meeting led Army veteran Larry Grathwohl into joining the group. Grathwohl served as a courier, running messages between the group’s leadership (called the “Weather Bureau”) and individual cells that were to carry out attacks. Grathwohl was also an informant for the FBI. In an interview from the 1982 documentary No Place To Hide that recently surfaced, Grathwohl discussed what the Weathermen intended to do after overthrowing the U.S. government, including what they would do with those Americans who refused to embrace communism. I asked, “Well what is going to happen to those people we can’t reeducate, that are diehard capitalists?” And the reply was that they’d have to be eliminated. And when I pursued this further, they estimated they would have to eliminate 25 million people in these reeducation centers. And when I say “eliminate,” I mean “kill.” Twenty-five million people. Hell...I've been on the Red List for years. None of this is news to me. |

So what does all this mean to common folk like you and I? What it means is, if you're wired, (which we all here are) we have nothing to fear. It's the one's that are not wired that they cannot see and or hear that they fear, therefore, those are the one's that will be captured and tortured for information that they don't know about. Cool huh! |
