Nasty storm.

And there are tons of trailer parks all through that area for retirees and northern sunbirds. Bet they are pretty bedraggled after this blow.

Nah, they'll be okay. Winds aren't that high. Mostly rain. Most trailers down here are designed to withstand some major wind. Unless a tornado rips through, they'll be okay.

It's the rising water, flooding, and regional mudslides that are the problem.

Yeah, wind damage appears to be minimal across Deep South Texas according to the news station.

The local radar shows the rotating eye just NW of Corpus Cristi on land and moving directly to San Antonio within two hours. Lived here all my life and never seen a hurricane eye stay together this deep inland. The eastern feeder bands are still over water. The western eye side is very weak looking.
