Hi Silent Companion. Jill is adorable! Glad she made it and hope she can stay with you longer. What kind of dog is she? I have a 15 year old German Sheperd/Sheltie cross that we still take for short walks but has some arthritis in her back legs that make things difficult. I do have to wonder a lot of times if ET's do repair her as there have been many times where she has injured her back legs so badly she could barely walk and we didn't know if she would recover. If they have been helping her I owe them so much gratitude.

I'm glad you liked the photos and especially those of Jill...hope you saw the pretty coastline with the white cliffs..and the lovely sunsets that we had they were spectacular. Yes, we are very thankful for all who helped with Jill's recovery.
You've got a 15 year old doggie..how great! It is such an honor to be able to live with other beings and learn from them and share with them..no matter whether cats, or dogs or rabbits or goats...whatever.
Jill is 13&1/2 she is half German Shepherd, half Reisenschnauzer..that's a big black schnauzer...she was born in Germany... the parents of the mother were friends of ours. She was dogie number 13 of the litter..the last one..each was different looking. The owners were frantic to find good homes for so many puppies. Jill has altered our life for the last 13 years. We do care very much for her..and are happy to. We will be taking her for a nice weekend to Germany. There is a fall fruit harvesting festival that we want to attend. And she will visit family, they want to see her too. It's just a short drive...a little over an hour, so it will be easy on her. My husband lifts her in and out of the camper, as her hind legs are too weak now to get her up the ramp. As she is 75 pounds, he is getting some good muscles. She is totally deaf now, and doesn't see well...but still likes to play and has the energy to.. she is an amazing being, very happy, and very sweet.I hope you have had the pleasure to share so much with your doggie as well.

I meant to say- we have a dogie wheelchair for her for longer walkies. They are great! We got it last Christmas when she first had a problem and could not walk....it has really helped her regain confidence, and been able to go places that otherwise she could not...It only takes a bit of adjusting and getting used to...for short walkies we can go without it...but for longer, it does help her.
