I'm not sure about every single leaf dropping in the old days, but they are not supposed to have hundreds or thousands of dried up leaves on them like here. We have trees lining many streets that literally have most of their canopy of leaves still on the tree from last fall, they never really dropped many. They just died and dried up on the tree. The leaf season was just plain odd. They budded out extremely early, for example Cherry blossoms bloomed in late January 2010, which is at least 2 if not 3 months early. Then many trees had leaves turning colors far far too early (late July/early august) instead of late september/october. Not to mention when they did turn colors it was more an assortment of sickly browns and yellows rather than the vibrant reds,oranges and yellows that are normal. Then I noticed that some of the other trees even still had green leaves into I believe December. So all in all the leave season was out of whack in more than a few ways last year. The owner of the blog I posted just made a good post today showing many of the symptoms I am seeing on the trees here as well. -Cracking Bark -Bleeding sap through fissures in the trunk -"canker" sores becoming abundant -Large holes in the trunks -Excessive/rampant and sudden lichen and moss growth proliferating extremely rapidly -Thinning canopies in evergreens/heavy needle loss -Sparse leaf growth on deciduous trees/lack of density/transparent canopies -Leaf deformities upon closer inspection -excessive attacks by insects -Spots on the leaves or dried crinkled ends -discoloration and a lack of ability to produce chlorophyll in leaves -early leaf drop etc etc It's harder to tell whats happening in winter but looking for some of the things I listed with the trunks and branches will give a good idea of whether the trees is healthy or not before it even leafs out. If it is exhibiting some or all of those symptoms you can bet you'll see a serious reduction in the number/size/health of the leaves produced this spring. I think these things can be hard for us to notice sometimes because these trees are dying somewhat gradually(a few years to a decade) when compared to the length of a human lifespan, but when considered in earth time, extremely extremely rapidly. So many people it seems have not noticed yet as on a day to day basis the decline is small enough that one would tend to get used to this. That being said, you area could be still in relatively good health, I have not been to New York so I could not make judgment. Thanks for showing and interest and keep me updated! |

I can understand the trees are dying from the new higher energy radiations coming in, the contents of the radiation shield "chemtrails" as well as defoliants being sprayed. But why the sudden excessive and absurdly rapid growth of lichen/moss all over these dying trees? As far as I know lichen and mosses are not parasitic, so this is not a case like the bark beetles and other insects where they are able to multiply rapidly by taking advantage of trees weakened by the sources I listed above. Now many of the lichens do thrive in Nitrogen rich environments, and we humans do indeed produce much nitrogen pollution. But this is not a new thing. We have been producing such pollutions for a long time. While this extremely rapid spread of the lichens is just within the last couple years. So what is going on here? Sorry for rambling on guys, I know many might want to concentrate on other topics. I just feel like this one is kind of my "thing" and I feel compelled to know, lol. |

When I study alot and the subjects I use to prove/convince myself are fresh in my mind...there is NO DOUBT in my mind or energies that a pole shift is imminent. It is when I back off and relax and start to forget what I just learned..that I start to wind up and doubt. Then I seek some kind of reassurance to once again reconvince me we are actually at the end. This is not very easy to know what we know and live with it every day. I do seem to have increasing lichens on several trees, and from what I read the lichen itself is not harmful to the tree but it's a symptom that the tree is weak. Other than that the trees involved seem quite healthy. One of them is the big oak that dumped enough leaves to keep me busy clearing them over and over again, during several months. I noticed that a couple trees now seem to have more lichen coverage on them than I recalled from last year. This is out of many trees, but still ... And we have a magnolia in front that always sheds branches but seems to grow new ones faster than that. We have had some huge wind storms, so I've assumed that shedding small branches is a healthy tree's way of lessening stress on the main trunk and large branches, or just getting rid of old branches not needed any more. Like I used to shed more hair before I started going bald. I've only lived here a few years so I don't have long history to compare it to. .
