Thank you for your many answers to my questions. They are much appreciated and help shed light on things which I've been wondering about for a long time.

Having been involved with the martial arts for most of my life, I've learned to use "ki" (chi) in various ways, but have always wondered about the mechanism.

For example, I can emit ki towards a person and make the person move or fall back.

I also sometimes will focus ki on a student's injury to heal it. In mishaps where there would normally be swelling and bruising later, this
eliminates both. I've used the same to cure stiff shoulders and other pains
for friends over the years as well.

Emitting ki towards "ghostly or spirit-like" entities seems to cause them to go away. However, these days I try to mentally talk to the entities to explain to them that they are causing problems to a person by being in the place where they are and asking them to go to someplace else (a better place than where they are at the moment).

In the past, there have been a few instances where I have been able to topple physical objects from a distance of 3-4 meters by relaxing
and focusing a stream of ki at them although I cannot replicate this at
will.

I also sometimes use this ki to warm students in winter during teaching or training (we train in unheated facilities).

Could you elaborate on where this "ki" that I use comes from? Are there ways to enhance it further than where I have it now? Are there any other ways I can use it to help others?

Thank you for your many answers to my questions. They are much appreciated and help shed light on things which I've been wondering about for a long time.

Having been involved with the martial arts for most of my life, I've learned to use "ki" (chi) in various ways, but have always wondered about the mechanism.

For example, I can emit ki towards a person and make the person move or fall back.

I also sometimes will focus ki on a student's injury to heal it. In mishaps where there would normally be swelling and bruising later, this
eliminates both. I've used the same to cure stiff shoulders and other pains
for friends over the years as well.

Emitting ki towards "ghostly or spirit-like" entities seems to cause them to go away. However, these days I try to mentally talk to the entities to explain to them that they are causing problems to a person by being in the place where they are and asking them to go to someplace else (a better place than where they are at the moment).

In the past, there have been a few instances where I have been able to topple physical objects from a distance of 3-4 meters by relaxing
and focusing a stream of ki at them although I cannot replicate this at
will.

I also sometimes use this ki to warm students in winter during teaching or training (we train in unheated facilities).

Could you elaborate on where this "ki" that I use comes from? Are there ways to enhance it further than where I have it now? Are there any other ways I can use it to help others?
