Also regarding air pollution, I was wondering how much of an effect all the cars/large shipping trucks have on the environment. I work in a very industrial area and the air always stinks like exhaust fumes. I always see thick black smoke billowing out of transport semi trucks and
their usually seems to be smog on the horizon on sunny days. Where does all this pollution go? It can't escape into space through the hole in the ozone layer can it?

I've noticed that our plant life is becoming more and more "fried" from some sort of effect going on in our environment.
