The other night I dreamt of going to a party -- it was a wedding reception for myself and my husband, even though we've been married 24 years. We drove by a large puddle and between the two tallest trees I have ever seen. I craned my head out of the car window so I could look directly up at them. They were so tall I couldn't see their tops. The bark was mottled, like sycamore trees, and in my dream I thought this must be what tall sycamores look like to a small bug -- if it looked up. The trees didn't seem to be exactly trees though, I felt that "very very very tall tree" was my nascent consciousness's way of interpreting some other kind of experience, and that I was like a small bug. The trees inspired wonder and awe and a great love, for they were very beautiful.

I don't know why I feel compelled to share this.

KOZA - The only reason I'm here is because I believe ST in BG is genuine....there isn't a human on Earth who is as Literal as he is. It's too easy to dismiss him as being a lonely guy sitting at his pc in his scruffy little flat with nothing to do but play with himself. There are many well-read folks on this thread who know that much of what ST says, is true.

My one and only issue with ST is trust. He's always polite, direct and to the point unless he won't answer for his own reasons. But his sense of humour doesn't 'fit' ours and he's very literal. Even if ST is well-intended, which he sounds to be, it's the Race in general I have a problem with.

And, ST....another problem for humans is when you describe things like 'well, we cut off the top of his head, shot his brains out and they regenerated into what was required'. I mean, this sounds like Hannibal Lecter stuff to me.

My dream state has been highly active -- last night I dreamed -- or recalled a memory -- that I was myself as a little girl who remembered a part of my past -- meeting "Dr Seuss" (as a dark-haired bearded man)in a round, beige room covered with maps and globes. Dr Seuss was the leader of the group and he thought I was a cute little kid, he picked me from the group and there was a picture taken of me with him. There was some kind of instruction. I was familiar w/ everyone there, but they weren't anyone I know in my life. They told me I was in the planetarium of the Franklin Institute, but I insisted that I was never there as a child; that this was someplace else. I am not sure if I dreamed I was there, or if my dream recalled the memory of being there as a child. The identity association in the dream was distinctly myself as a 3-5 year old child. I don't have a whole lot of memories from back then, but I do remember a recurring dream about a round tank that hovered in the street, with 'living toys' that took me into the tank.
