As promised I located the last message I received from ace. It was forwarded by someone else. It was much longer ago than I remembered.

You are right about ace´s wit, but that last message is still a mystery to me. I was always able to understand what he meant before that in many messates, but that one stumped me. However, later the one who forwarded ace´s humorous remark began to address me as Lt. Commander. ace was a commander. Not much that being ever said was very understandable and he would not explain why he was calling me that at the time. I still don´t know. He referred to ace as Fleet Commander.

You say you understand what ace meant by our being the same size. He´s less than four feet tall and I´m about 5´ 6. That´s why I still don´t understand his joke.

Suffice it to say they were a no-show and it was quite some time before there was any explaination offered for their failure to show up. A friend of mine was also told they would arrive west of his house at 11:30 p.m. on 9/24/01. They didn´t appear there either. He is a professional photographer and had been instructed to bring his cameras to take pictures. His contact was to be visual only. He was told not to approach the craft until he was told. They didn´t show up. We´ve been waiting for further contact ever since but it still hasn´t happened.

As promised I located the last message I received from ace. It was forwarded by someone else. It was much longer ago than I remembered.

The last message before that one came from ace himself directly. That one came as a surprise after a nearly a year of no contact. ace has always called me teacher:

You are right about ace´s wit, but that last message is still a mystery to me. I was always able to understand what he meant before that in many messates, but that one stumped me. However, later the one who forwarded ace´s humorous remark began to address me as Lt. Commander. ace was a commander. Not much that being ever said was very understandable and he would not explain why he was calling me that at the time. I still don´t know. He referred to ace as Fleet Commander.

Suffice it to say they were a no-show and it was quite some time before there was any explaination offered for their failure to show up. A friend of mine was also told they would arrive west of his house at 11:30 p.m. on 9/24/01. They didn´t appear there either. He is a professional photographer and had been instructed to bring his cameras to take pictures. His contact was to be visual only. He was told not to approach the craft until he was told. They didn´t show up. We´ve been waiting for further contact ever since but it still hasn´t happened.
