The truth is that you are quite far from understanding the Sun and many other things... it is simply fine, it simply IS and we don´t know it very well for unavoidable issues (such as our still very short live as a technical civilization capable to address such questions, i.e.), there are patterns out there too and whereas we may ignore them to any level... they are such... many things to discover and learn through the light of science, trough the light of verifiable and very real phenomena. The Sun, for sure, has a lot to do with us, and in a profound sense... it has almost everything to do with this planet, everything. That´s quite OBVIOUS ; )

Tonight was a beautiful sunset. I think it was a little too far North. But I will have to take a compass and check it out tomorrow. Anyway. The sun was a gorgeous orange. But.. it looked funny.

You know how an eclipse of the moon looks. The disk of the earth's shadow will cross the moon. In an eclipse you can see the round of the earth's shadow and a bit of the moon's lit curvature.

Well that is what the sun looked like today. Like there was a round body super-imposed on the sun ( in front of it) with a small section of the Northwestern curvature of the sun showing. I have not seen this before. I do not know if it was a trick of my eyes or real. I asked my husband if he could see it and he could not. So.. I do not know if it were a trick of my eyes or imagination or real. I have just never seen it like that before. A circle against the background of the sun. Again the circle would be to the south east. Also the front circle was more dark orange and the lit part a light orange.
