The high tides on indonesia/polinesia are somewhat more unusual... but expectable as for the moon being at its closer perigee for the last 15 years. This could make lithospheric tides too, so perhaps the later could be increasing the volcanic activity in some level or contributing for such increase... which is noticeable.

Yes it is evidently the moon... perhaps ST cannt look at the image?

The moon looks so large because of atmospheric difraction of light. When the atmosphere has a lot of humidity or dust the difraction of light tend to be higher, specially when the Sun or the Moon apparent position lies close to the horizon line and a light has to travel through a wider gas/air layer. There are other optic illusions related with cold and heat air masses as well. Pretty phenomena.

The thread you reffered to is unexplicative and swampy. There is no information signaling such a gamma ray impact, the distances and times are not even touched at all.

Why should an earthquake occur in the 26th just because that happened in 2004? Its obvious that there would be earthquakes, but there is no obvious connections between the dates... oh the dates, that reminds me about something i must quote of course. BTW there was a passage of Venus at those times, and now there is no passage at all... it will be four years from now, in 2012... and not in 2008.

I think the above is just guessworks, unfounded guessworks.

Either the gregorian calendar was in error and that was known very well by ST as claimed AND information can be very precisely obtained perhaps from great knowledge/measurements by many means or by a time machine of some sort running now and at disposition for use AND some communications were passed down to humans over 2000 years ago or even earlier (to the Mayans i.e.?)

After all there are ZERO proofs other than this communications. 2008 is 2008, 2012 is 2012 and it is unlikely that a specific date could ever had been suggested/given or not even known, unless you have observed and can use a time machine. Could that really exist? What about the paradoxes?

I had been thinking about the possibilities within the plaussible processes... and i should also agree that a temporal widespread and even global fast freezing could actually happen... temporarilly of course. I also agree that in such scenarios (whereas hypothetical or not) an ice layer of different thickness could form in vast areas of oceanic extense... and this is congruent to your response that you cann´t say how far south and how far north it could cover... because there would be many variable issues and the results would depend on them. Most seeds have some level of resistance to cold/freezing, many plants (specially trees and simbiotic plants, lichens) in the northern (and temperate) latitudes had high resilience to freezing and in large areas they actually go through fast and slow freezing well below the point of water freezing. Most seeds would be protected and even buried so freezing would not be a relevan issue if it does not extend for too much time, which would depend on the plant we are talking about... as some could endure some years, while others might keep viability through centuries. Considering the effect of freezing temperatures, once the later point is reached, there is not much difference if you got 10 or 100 degrees less but for the speed in which a non resistant tissue could freeze of course (wind effect added too)... this plants would not freeze in months even if you put them on Mars, they do can survive... for some time. The problem of lack of glaciar evidence in temperate or even tropical low lands is a not problem if the freeze is temporal and glaciers are not formed at all in those areas. The problem of animal survival might be somewhat different, although most fauna could survive to a sufficient extent underground, buried or at caves too, and some of them even in an hybernation mode close or at the surface. However, i found it difficult to explain how could large animals, specially reptiles (cold blooded reptiles that need plenty of solar heat such as crocodiles, i.e.) and large mammals such as elephants could manage through such a mess... also some fish and perhaps some marine mammals would find such a thing quite difficult to cope with.

As subtropical and tropical organisms are the less adapted to freezing conditions, freezing damage would be worst in those regions which correspond to the megadiverse regions... but how much is how much? and isn´t such a temporal freezing possiblity a triggering for further adaptive radiation (diversification) in such areas, rather than in those where the dominant species can survive and outcompete others, keeping them from speciating to some level? Suggestive ideas such of the fast freezing too... couldn´t dismiss them just at non sense, as their seems also plaussible and what i thought were proofs against might not be exactly... against... given certain conditions.

Of course, even a slight, limited freeze of such properties would be too much for our civilization to cope with, agriculture will be overwhelmed and there will be no food... really hope that this is just an exageration.

So far... well, what else i remain in disagreement as possibilities? or issues in which i have much doubt at:

1- The Earth splitting in two or more pieces/Earths and the Earth´s orbit being "significantly" changed as implying a very large variation!

Do you refer to the possible existence of parallel universes, somewhat like scientist working on quantic physycs do hypothesyze about and even theorize on such things? Really found difficult to understand this kind of almost methaphysical ideas... its almost as talking about reincarnations. Isn´t it? Could you explain again that concept you named density, as our concept of density which is other thing (mass/volume)?

2- Jupiter becoming a star, a blue star!

Blue stars are supposed to be quite more energetic than yellow/medium ones such as Sol... so how could this be real but long after Sol has dissapeared, in billions of years... and even in such case, how would it get so massive? I really disagree with this one... could you explain how it could be such a thing?

3- 2005 and/or 2008 being 2012 of course and date oxymorons.

4- 2012 being a significant date at all.

5- You not being fearmongering/somewhat disinforming.

6- You being trying to inform/teach humans as best as possible/allowed.

7- Other sort of much clearer, open communications not being currently possible.

8- The world´s governments making everything wrong or in a completely uninformed/unwise way.

9- Regarding attitudes as putting everything in the same basket and judging at human science as mostly wrong... as wise/informed ones.

Bizarre... well, not yours of course, just an english expression. Very very very sincerely, no doubt.

So you would be seeking for a safe place while you know that in such (hypothetically) nightmare scenarios that would be almost non existent? Only very resourceful individuals and organizations might have a real chance if what you are saying is to become real, which i doubt and hope not of course... what would you get to a safe place AND have enough food stored, energy for heating if it becomes necessary, things to do and not get crazy in a small room living a nightmare live for perhaps quite long time and all of this in a hidden site, because you would not want to be stolen or worst, which in such case would be quite likely... and even later, you would have to start everything almost as in the stone age (unless you are resourcefull of course, as i said)?! hmmmmmm.

Be hopefull, we are not as a virus, neither humans act too much different than any other organisms in the planet... that is exactly our main (addressable) problem concerning population, resource overexploitation and pollution. It is not that human beings fail to act as other organisms, neither that this organisms are in harmony with their environment (which in certain way is true by means of ecological processes but not after the romantic idea of caring for the environment), but that we are too powerfull and relentless to overcome our natural limitations... we just keep doing what every organism do, while we are too successfull in doing so in a somewhat unnatural pathway through our technology. That´s a problem. Not a romantic idealisitc problem, but a quite real one.

That reminds me about a last disagrement i have with ST in BG, probably the last one... and it is about thinking that whatever nighmare plaussible processes for our perspective that had been discussed here... can be such because the need of a "cleansing"... there is not such a thing, just natural (and perhaps somewhat artificially modified/triggered) processes that had been so for very long timeframes, quite before even humans got in existence or civilizations even arises. The processes might clean some things, but it would depend in what you have in mind... as for it is the romantic conception of a pristine Earth with pure air and plenty of savage/wild resources without human modifications... this would be far from the actual results for quite a long, really long time... and the very concept of pristine conditions is quite relative... let´s just stand that the results of even a slight part of what ST says would be quite much terrible than the overall effects of human created pollution on the planet for every organism on it. And that is without reffering to alternative procedures by which human induced problems could and are even being solved. Humans had almost NOTHING to do with the geology of the planet they live on and they had even less to do with the astrophysics of the system in which that planet is located and the universe everything is happening. Humans tend to think they are so important, but the truth is that we are quite... small. Everything is relative.

ST, not to be harsh here but here i go, It's True some people swallow Hook/line/sinker what their governments and religions and big pharma and medics/doctors tell them, but how are other people/or sheeple whichever you prefer know that you would NOT have the same intentions as to give them the same hook/line/sinker treatment without really knowing who you are?

Many come to this board seeking truth and then you give them the run around treatment, i mean what do you hope to gain from this thread, what kind of benifits does it come with?

Many others come to this board without knowing , looking at the title and not researching into the thread, that is also true, but i mean wouldnt it have been better to just never mention about a time frame that nibiru is to arrive?

I mean sometimes a thought of nibiru comes into my mind when i am driving, and i get a nervous/tightened of stoumach sensation, and open eyes wide, thinking oh boy wish i didnt know or hear of this, i mean i don't like and that isnt a healthy way to live when tensions fly.

Had a message this morning. Was some thick black lines coming in from the east. They hit the ground and then circles moved out like ripples on a pond.By the way.. it was like on 2 walls and the ceiling. 3D?

This afternoon @ 2 pm I had another message.
This showed the area with circles/bubbles. Looked like cauliflower. The electric lines moved every direction. Then circles opend and made circular ripple patterns, like in a pond.

Then it looked like from the north east that liquid was poured it ran all over the land. Then the whole land moved to the west/southwest. Then another inundation of the liquid/water.. Again in covered the land. Then the last shifted again to the west. Was really weird. Flood and then the land mass moved.

Then there was a swirling of the whole scene. Counterclockwise. Then in the swirl I saw an eye open. Looked like a reptilian eye. Then it closed and the swirling continued.

There were continuaton of elements from before throughout. The electric movements. Circles opening and ejecta spewing out. Sparse vegetation.

See A friend told us "We once saw photographs of some bas relief carvings allegedly uncovered in a cave in Central America. The carvings are the same quality as Greek statuary in terms of scale, perspective and true-to-life detail and it clearly showed a human queen being visited by a reptilian dignitary, who was offering tribute (gifts) to her. This carving (I assume it's genuine) obviously predates the Mayans and related civilizations.

Leaks Found in Earth's Protective Magnetic Field

Scientists have found two large leaks in Earth's magnetosphere, the region around our planet that shields us from severe solar storms.


The leaks are defying many of scientists' previous ideas on how the interaction between Earth's magnetosphere and solar wind occurs: The leaks are in an unexpected location, let in solar particles in faster than expected and the whole interaction works in a manner that is completely the opposite of what scientists had thought.


The findings have implications for how solar storms affect the our planet. Serious storms, which involved charged particles spewing from the sun, can disable satellites and even disrupt power grids on Earth.


The new observations "overturn the way that we understand how the sun's magnetic field interacts with the Earth's magnetic field," said David Sibeck of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., during a press conference today at the annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union in San Francisco.


The bottom line: When the next peak of solar activity comes, in about 4 years, electrical systems on Earth and satellites in space may be more vulnerable.


How it works


Earth's magnetic field carves out a cavity in the sun's onrushing field. The Earth's magnetosphere is thus "buffeted like a wind sock in gale force winds, fluttering back and forth in the" solar wind, Sibeck explained.


Both the sun's magnetic field and the Earth's magnetic field can be oriented northward or southward (Earth's magnetic field is often described as a giant bar magnet in space). The sun's magnetic field shifts its orientation frequently, sometimes becoming aligned with the Earth, sometime becoming anti-aligned.


Scientists had thought that more solar particles entered Earth's magnetosphere when the sun's field was oriented southward (anti-aligned to the Earth's), but the opposite turned out to be the case, the new research shows.


The work was sponsored by NASA and the National Science Foundation and based on observations by NASA's THEMIS (Time History of Events and Macroscale Interactions during Substorms) satellite.


How many and where


Essentially, the Earth's magnetic shield is at its strongest when scientists had thought it would be at its weakest.


When the fields aren't aligned, "the shield is up and very few particles come in," said physicist Jimmy Raeder of the University of New Hampshire in Durham.


Conversely, when the fields are aligned, it creates "a huge breach, and there's lots and lots of particles coming in," Raeder added, at the news conference.


As it orbited Earth, THEMIS's five spacecraft were able to estimate the thickness of the band of solar particles coming when the fields were aligned — it turned out to be about 20 times the number that got in when the fields were anti-aligned.


THEMIS was able to make these measurements as it moved through the band, with two spacecraft on different borders of the band; the band turned out to be one Earth radius thick, or about 4,000 miles (6,437 kilometers). Measurements of the thickness taken later showed that the band was also rapidly growing.


"So this really changes our understanding of solar wind-magnetosphere coupling," said physicist Marit Oieroset of the University of California, Berkeley, also at the press conference.


And while the interaction of anti-aligned particles occurs at Earth's equator, those of aligned particles occur at higher latitudes both north and south of the equator. The interaction is "appending blobs of plasma onto the Earth's magnetic field," which is an easy way to get the solar particles in, said Sibeck, a THEMIS project scientist.


Next solar cycle


This finding not only has implications for scientists' understanding of the interaction between the sun and Earth's magnetosphere, but for predicting the effects to Earth during the next peak in the solar cycle.


The Sun operates on an 11-year cycle, alternating between active and quiet periods. We are currently in a quiet period, with few sunspots on the sun's surface and fewer solar flares, though the next cycle of activity has begun. It is expected to peak around 2012, bringing lots of sunspots, flares and coronal mass ejections (CMEs). CMEs can interact with the Earth's magnetosphere, causing problems for satellites, communications, and power grids.


This upcoming active period now looks like it will be more intense than the previous one, which peaked around 2006, some scientists think. The reason is the changes in the sun's alignment.


During the last peak, solar fields hitting the Earth were first anti-aligned then aligned. Anti-aligned fields can energize particles, but in this case, the energy came before the particles themselves, which doesn't create much of a fuss in terms of geomagnetic storms and disruptions.


But the next cycle will see aligned, then anti-aligned fields, in theory amplifying the effects of the storms as they hit.


Raeder likens the difference to igniting a gas stove one of two ways: In the first way, the gas is turned on and the stove is lit and you get a flame. In the other way, you let the gas run for awhile, so that when you add the gas you get a much bigger boom.


"It should be that we're in for a tough time in the next 11 years," Sibeck said.

Thanks for the links to the NASA news concerning discoveries about Earth´s magnetic field... its quite interesting and much much much more intriguing/unexplained. What much do we know about the issue? Really? Their explanations sound quite science fiction... what they are observing might as well be an expectable phenomena, as the magnetic field itself might had quite a lot (or everything?) to do with the Solar discharges. Really intriguing, thanks. Perhaps this is related also with the SAA and auroral activity? BTW, the link for NASA works for the audio.
