Last night, I asked again for assistance in bringing myself to a more conscious dream state! I am very thankful to those that helped me! (And happy with myself!)

I had a very pleasant, 'lifelike' dream, with some familiar locations and beings involved! I gained some consciousness outside my house, near the door to my shed. My bed is a floor above the shed door, and through a wall/window. I believe I was in an 'astral projection' state at this time, and I wish I had taken the opportunity to fly!

For whatever reason, I went through (opened?) the shed door, and the room appeared dark. There may have been some confusion at this point, and it's possible I entered a 'lucid dream' state.

The room filled with light, though I can't remember fumbling for a light switch. My surroundings appeared familiar... On the left hand side, however, I noticed the crate that my canine friend sleeps in, and a friendly face peering out that wanted to come play! Inside was a puppy, closely resembling my dog in her youth!

I find it funny now, but at the time, further confusion ensued! I felt bad that s/he had to sleep outside in the shed, while the other dog was comfy inside! my dream state and facts from my waking life intertwined, it seems.

Confusion aside, I had fun with the puppy!

I can also clearly remember another event and location! I was in the 'TV room,' lying down on the couch with the puppy. My full grown dog came to greet us, with her tail wagging and a happy look on her face! She came from around the corner, where her body rested physically.

Is it possible that my dogs dreams intertwined with mine?

Thanks again to those that have helped me! Attaining more control of my directions and actions while resting is something I will further work on!

A lot of school has been missed lately, due to 'professional development' days and holidays. Though we are behind, we are going to be released early in a few days for a fire drill.

A few days after that, on May Second, a large scale, multi-school earthquake drill will take place.

Many middle class parents will be forced to convene at school-yards to pick up their kids, just to stage what would be attempted in a real disaster. (In a real cataclysm, I'd expect a mass exodus of the school grounds)

I might be looking too far into this, but two emergency school drills in the same fortnight seems a bit excessive to me, unless actual preparations are necessary.
