It is my understanding that ETs are not that interested in intervening to put an end to the "holocaust" involving non-human species. Perhaps they see such an intervention as a violation of human free will. Perhaps, such traumatic experiences for non-human species provide a sort of catalyst for coming into a higher degree of self-awareness.

Isn't it true that abusing another being (whether human or non-human) is really the same thing as abusing yourself. The pain you inflict on others is a form of self-mutilation, self-abuse, is it not? So tell me, would it be appropriate for ETs to stop people from abusing themselves? As twisted as it may seem, many entities choose abusive situations as way to progress on their path towards a greater understanding/relationship to ALL THAT IS.

Life on this planet on the 3D level has always involved a high degree of suffering (ET refers to Terra as the Planet of Sorrows). If it has always been this way, I'm not so sure why the Council of Worlds would decide that the 3D experience should be any different.

We will do a better job of protecting our brother and sister species on 4D Terra, where only those with a higher degree of connection with SOURCE will reside.

As for now, the best way to protect animals involves an individual choice to live simply and in harmony with your natural surroundings...consider switching to a diet low in meat or no meat... if you do eat meat, only consider organic free-ranged animals...but be aware, meat and eggs sold under the label "free-range" may not meet your expectations of what "free range" means to you. Also choose organic non-GMO vegetable sources, as conventional sources of oils, nuts, fruits, veggies involve lots of pesticides/herbicides that KILL/HARM much more than the targeted pests/plants.

But what if your observing a human while their watching a mystery television show would you become normally interested in what their watching too? If so how would you perceive the human actors on that television not being able to mentally peer through their minds telepathically? I know what you mean. To be honest I'm not sure how I even make it through each day. Each time something like this happens I think surely this is the last straw, but it never is. I have a sinking feeling sometimes that something has gone terribly wrong and the ET's trying to help do not have as much power to do anything about it as has been represented. Just speculation I know...but something doesn't feel right.

I look to a few of the "mistakes" that contributed to this mess we find outselves in. Leaving the way way way below rank and file here with us.
