As kids we all do stupid things. Our nervous systems , our brains, and our ability to function logically is not hardwired until @ AGE 13.

You know.. like when you were 6 ...the reason why we think the grape juice on the curtains is beautiful and cannot understand why Mommie got upset. Kids don't think. They do not understand. They do stupid stuff. You know.. a few booboos on the learning curve.

I admit. I drowned a kitten. Why? Was I mean? No. He was just blowing beautiful Bubbles in the water. Momma gave his CPR, but he developed pneumonia and died a few days later. I hate it to this day....And then.. someone said put salt on a slug and he will dissolve. He did. But I never thought of the pain until later. I think I might have washed him off. But don't remember. I wasn't a mean kid. Just thought it was fascinating by experimenting and not understanding what was really happening. And I hate it to this day.

Like you.. I move the worms from the pavement, spiders and wasps from a room and let them go. Maybe it is our way for dealing with these little guys, now that we are aware. But all in all, ask quietly for their forgiveness and then forgive yourself.

In light of this I think it is time for me to admit something that I've never mentioned here before nor do I tell anyone I associate with in my day to day life.

I am not so innocent myself. It pains me to even think about
this but when I was a child I used to purposely inflict harm and death on what I considered to be "lower lifeforms". Mainly insects and possibly small crustaceans like crabs but it is hard to remember everything.

I always liked animals, even back then...but for some reason I didn't consider insects as much capable of feeling pain. I thought they had rather primitive nervous systems and would not feel much pain anyways, so I figured I would have fun with them. Though I imagined them to be in pain
when inflicting torture on them and for some reason got some sort of sick pleasure from this. My parents always told me not to do it.

I don't know when this changed and I decided that it was not
right to do things like this. Like I said I always liked animals and would get very upset when I heard about nasty things happening to them, so there was never a feeling that I would do anything to harm what I considered "higher life forms". At some point though, maybe gradually, I decided that harming any lifeform was not right. I don't know what changed me or how I learned.

Now I go out of my way to get a paper napkin and scoop up a bug to escort him out of the house, whereas someone else would rather just squish it. I pick up slugs trying to cross a dusty pathway on a hot day and place him/her into the moist leaves on the other side it was trying to
reach. I open doors in the house to try to get flies to fly out rather than swatting them.

I don't really see how I can atone for what I did as a child though.

I don't completely understand why I did it either. I have to wonder if a lot of the pain I now experience in life could be some sort of payback for what I did, and I can't say I don't deserve it if that is the case.

ST In BG, I am curious about more on abductions/borrowing. In 1969 I was adopted at birth and haven't been able to further my contact with my birth mother or father. Later in life I found my birth parents information I tried calling but my father insistently denies the possibility that my birth mother was pregnant during 1969 and I'm in complete error. They continue to ignore my calls there after. Now I am wondering is it possible they were abductees themselves and were trying to protect me from future abductions by giving me up for adoption?

Just curious...why does it even matter???

I'm not adopted...both my parents are/were alcoholics for the great majority of my life...they had a very nasty divorce....LOTS of anger...living with them was extremely difficult.....i'm very very different from each of them. I'm quite sure there are adoptive parents out there who I would have felt much closer to in many ways.

The genetic contribution of parents is way overrated.

The other memory I have, i'm sitting on the carpet on my grandpa and grandma house, it's a considerably distance from my house, so I couldn't make it from one place to another and see the whole event, hope I'm making myself clear. While sitting on the carpet, on that second memory, I can clearly see my beloved Grandpa... Who passed away earlier that year... about six months before that event. Since then, my mind is puzzled about what is the truth... I cannot tell...

Thanks Wispy. The thing that bothers me the most is that I at the time enjoyed imagining them in agony. I don't really know why. I think I had read or been told in school or by someone that insects had a primitive nervous system and could not feel much pain, but I don't know if that is true or not. But I liked imagining them in pain and I feel that is somewhat different than your case of unwareness. You weren't intending to cause pain or enjoying imagining other beings in pain.

It makes me sick now and I'm not sure why I thought it was okay back then. I was pretty young... and I still had respect for animals and people, but thought it was okay to do that to insects and such. I'm not sure really how I learned my lesson. It just seems incomprehensible to me now that I would do that or ever think that was ok.

Thanks for the support. I know that I would never do such things again. I would hope the lessons carry through to the next lifetimes and I wouldn't make the same mistakes if I had to come back to earth in a new body.

The Space brotherhood does have great species, species who did develop a respectful level of 'science'. However, in Universe, the Energy of Love does rule, not the mental (or intellectual) capacities.

Some of the Space Brotherhood do claim Earth, because they initiated the work to form the bodies on this planet. However those bodies are made from the Energy of the One.

Matter and Energy is part of the One, all those who do have a physical body in a layer of density (3th, 4th, 5th,...) is composed of the Energy of the One. Of course, it is a peace of a cake, for some Extraterrestrials, to form shapes out of matter, even they can handle a huge amount of Energy. But they are NOT the Prime Creator. They are just those who can build shapes out of what already exists. They re artists of the shape, but not the Creator of the substances, neither the Inside.
