Update to storm in my area in MA. High winds have already started. Some without electricity since morning. The worst to come this evening and tonight. About 1300 national guard activated to help. Large press conference going on now.

Some cities are of more concern because so close to coast. Some hospitals on generators. Lots in RI lost power starting with a very small number this morning. Lots of other power companies arrived last night from far away as Michigan to help.

Expecting gusting winds to 75 MPH in some places. Very low barometric pressure right now being reported.

I'll see what happens in a few hours.

Westport, MA got hit pretty good with flooding as it is a coastal town. That ocean water was splashing way over the top of some of the smaller cottages up this way. In MA about 17,000 without power. In RI a smaller state about 100,000 without power.

Those high winds was pushing those ocean tides, it looked like mini tsunamis. I was pretty much glued to the TV news channels looking at all the local footage coming in. I was amazed they kept local news going ALL day. It was non stop for those of us that had power.

I am okay, was in a safe enough area, but a look around tomorrow morning after tonight will tally up the score.

Mostly many places closed. No school for tomorrow either. Children lucky. Most businesses closed. Most people up this way at least heeded the warnings, so the roads were pretty cleared.

Too bad for those who lost power so early when the winds picked up. So far one city in the next state recorded a gust of 86 MPH wind. Their winds over time were high.

Something to see and experience. Being prepared helped people to get through this.

Oh yeah, now my other place on the beach. I don't know if I should go check or just called. The ocean is right there. I am concerned if much damaged, but it has a good amount of insurance, so that comforts me somewhat. I just know the ocean made it to the driveway and parking area. Perhaps I'll call around if the phones are not down.

Yeah, another quake in Canada about an hour ago. Different area, 6.2.

You know what MR. Rightnut, something to add to your snowball effect, with two earthquakes, the fires in Brooklyn, NY with those 50 homes on fire and forcing people into the flood water. That NY hospital's generator failing is all quite interesting as a small primer of what can happen on a larger scale with multiple catastrophes happening at the same time.

So many roads, bridges were closed to trap those who were not prepared or fail to listened to warnings. A week of warnings and the naysayers who stayed, needed to be rescued.

Just from this weather event, is a learning and perhaps warning to take heed to what ST In BG has been patiently repeating on what is coming. No wonder it is comical to them that we just sit here and doubt and do nothing.

Well obviously New York cannot handle a big storm as this city can easily be majorly damaged and flooded out by major storms and easily get flooded through these types of storms .

Even this one is man made i think theyre just testing people getting them prepared and take heed to warnings in the future and better prepare for such storms so that the residents there will be better prepared to excape next time around.

I do hope now you have turned on the talk box and have seen the pictures of damages and how easy people got caught in their dwellings by not listening. What a hard way to learn a lesson by jeopardizing their lives and the first responders live.

When it comes to the "timing," do you think in a lot of these events ST In BG's crew is assisting in not letting everything go at once, giving people ample time to heed warnings to allow preparation to fix the problem or save their life?

Not only this particular event, but all around the world? Monitoring, assisting, delaying, recovering, warning, teaching, reporting, and perhaps negotiating with the beings/elements?

Would a volcano want to go off after building up energy/pressure? An earthquake, etc? They would have awareness that most of us ignore and think it is a crazy idea. Would these beings not get tired of waiting also?

Being aware that TPTB more than likely have this knowledge, thereby knowing where to manipulate/pull the trigger to enhance the event to achieve what they want to achieve.

Just thoughts lingering and watching, waiting and learning, living my life while patiently waiting for graduating day to arrive.
