ST, i watched a video from fox news where they are talking about Dec 21st 2012,

if i didn't get the date correct forgive me, but they were
laughing and talking oh the Dutch are preparing for the end of the world 4 years from now, and even 1 person they said is going off to live somewhere and has enuff food and supplies to try to escape the apocalypse,

they were joking about it, and say oh what's gonna happen, the end of mankind and the girl said but how, and i couldn't really understand it to much but it was a short 1 to 2 minute video clip,

can you explain what is happening here now that they are discussing this so called Dec 2012 end of Mayan calendar,
