LHC was stopped for a while because of some technical problems, or so they say.

The exact day when it was powered-up (10 Sept 2008), we
experienced a drastic change in the weather, temperatures plunged suddenly to very cold.

This had never happened again before. Now, since it was
stopped, temperatures rose to higher values, making me wonder if it's linked to LHC.

We are in Eastern Europe, not very far from the big toy.
