Compared with the culture of early peoples eg Native American, Native Australians we are violent, greedy, corrupt, warlike, selfish and out of tune with nature. Some Gnostic teachings say "beware the twice born" suggesting that re-incarnated or re-assigned souls/energies may have been contaminated at the transit station.
