Proof you are never to old to become a DumbAss; Read this!

This was reported yesterday; as a Welshman myself I could not believe it; but it actually happened.

During heavy weather on the North Wales coast of the UK.
An 81 year old man who lives on the foreshore at Anglesy; an island just off the North Wales coast; spotted his neighbours wheelie bin being swept out to sea; he then proceeded to jump into a rubber dinghy to rescue it.

Having caught up with the wheelie bin; he secured a rope around it, and tied it to the dinghy; but the wind being so strong blew him, and the wheelie bin out to sea.

The coastguard was alerted to rescue the 81 year old man and the wheelie bin; on reaching the man his dinghy was half full of water, and the wheelie bin half full of rubbish.

He was found to be suffering from mild hypothermia, and the wheelie bin was a bit shaken; both are expected to make a speedy recovery; said a hospital spokesman, and council rep; the coastguard said this is the first time we have ever towed a bin.
