Re: The Mark of the Lamb: the FABLE unveiled
upon further search to define Lamb, I went to ancient knowledge and searched Christ Lamb.
This is what I believe the lamb to be in the fable .

Two other scenes show a lamb receiving the Tables of the Law on Mount Sinai and striking a rock whence issues a stream of water. Thus in this series, the lamb is a symbol, not only of Christ, but also of Moses, the Baptist, and the Three Children in the fiery furnace. The fresco the cemetery of Praetextatus, showing Susanna as a lamb between two wolves (the elders), is another example of the lamb as symbol of one of the ordinary faithful.
and
The lamb or sheep on the shoulders of the Good Shepherd is a symbol of the soul of the deceased being borne by Our Lord into heaven. . .
and
The lamb, or sheep, symbol, then, of the first class described, has, in all catacomb paintings and on sarcophagi of the fourth century, always a meaning associated with the condition of the deceased after death.
thus the Lamb but changes again.

catholic encyclopedia by the way.

I overcome my shyness with rudeness and belligerence.

my grandmother said

I think you already know the answer.

This comes from your statement about the Mark of the Beast being fictitious.

Re: The Mark of the Lamb: the FABLE unveiled
yes, well after the information gathered thus far and the inconsistencies within, I just called it as I see it.

In addition to the glp's goodwill and willingness to help me see the light, I discovered also, that what is known about the mark of the lamb on glp is not the truth but held to be so. blink

my sincere apologies for having wasted your thought on this. I am ok with it, however, for having confirmed in my mind that which isnt true. thanks

Re: The Mark of the Lamb: the FABLE unveiled
My daughter has a mark...a birth mark and it is not a NORMAL birth mark. It is red, but turns colors...and looks like a bruise sometimes. I have had people tell me that it looks like a kiss. The strangest thing is that when you put pressure on it with your finger, it feels like she has a little metal pin in her side. I have been searching for "the Mark" of anything...and this is the closest thing I have found.

She is special...and gifted
