Now that was funny. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1093915Why not put bells on them? I don't understand. I feed the blue jays here peanuts, too. I feed the Blue Jays too. In the front yard away from the cats who are in the cat proof backyard. This happened a few years ago. You have one life. Live it. You have one voice, use it. You have one :Hickory-1: |

It is not hurting anyone and it is good exercise for the cat as well as the prey they stalk, for one thing they catch 20 get away.. I love watching my cat stalk everything it is like national geographic in my yard.. |

Everyday one waits for me at the kitchen window for me to give him peanuts. Quoting: BrwnstownYeah real cool especially if you have nice flower beds that they dig up and ruin... Along with their buddies the tree rats....... You're just being grumpy! Plant sturdier flowers and put out food away from the beds. If they do dig - consider it a free aeration service :o) The chipmunks, raccoons and squirrels dig in our flowerboxes on the patio and they don't seem to damage the flowers at all. They just want the birdseed that drops into them. They also eat very little of our vegetable garden - which we plant extra specifically so that we can share with the critters. Although one year, someone decided to gorge themselves on ALL of our lettuce - which would have been ok....but the killed the plants and there was no more lettuce that year. We think it may have been a deer since the damage was so thorough. We cover the lettuce with mesh now...but leave out one plant for the animals. God Bless President TRUMP! GOD BLESS AMERICA!! |

I love to see them sleeping and chasing each other around the yard and laying in the sun. You have one life. Live it. You have one voice, use it. You have one :Hickory-1: |

The squirrels don't seem to bother our flower or veggie beds either. What they do enjoy doing is burying acorn and hickory nuts in the beds. Constantly pulling up tree shoots the next year. lol. But it doesn't stop critter from coming in the yard. Quoting: HickoryI like Chipmunks too. You could give in and give it a collar and it's own bowl. Can they be litter box trained? **** PEACE **** UFO's @ [link to www.youtube.com] UFO photos & phenomena @ [link to www.picasaweb.google.com] MY GLP VIDEO CHANNEL * [link to video.godlikeproductions.com] [link to www.futurequake.bravehost.com] |
