To be fair this beach has had whales beach themselves on it before, but they still don't know what causes it. It's sad they try to help each other and end up dying :( Thanks too! |

Said that the whales are nutritionally depleted, underweight, and literally starving. There is not enough plankton or whatever they eat to sustain them. He thinks that is the reason for all the beachings. |

BRIEF AND TO THE POINT
User ID: 381742 United States 09/22/2010 11:58 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The pilots need to fire their navigator... Poor people do poor people things, and rich people do rich people things. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it! when you rob Paul to give to Peter ... ... ... you will always get Peters support! :Brieffromnativea: |

New Zealand has one of the world's highest rates of whale strandings, mainly during their migrations to and from Antarctic waters, one of which begins around September. Since 1840, the Department of Conservation has recorded more than 5,000 strandings of whales and dolphins around the New Zealand coast. Scientists have not been able to determine why whales become stranded" What the hell is wrong with these scientists? Why don't we ever get to see the necropsy reports when these things happen? Why does New Zealand, have the world's highest rates of whale strandings? What's going on in New Zealand to cause this? Navy Sonar, change in ocean temperatures & currents, dead zone, toxins, chemicals, pollutions? Why can't these scientists figure this out? |

User ID: 903456 Netherlands 09/22/2010 12:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | And since whales use the Earth's magnetic field to assist navigation i really think the cause is a disturbance in that field. Most likely created by us, by accident or otherwise. We really know very little about our ecosystem and lots of times we cause the disturbance by the way we research it. I don't think these whales stranded because they were starving but one thing is correct... we are destroying the ecosystem incl. the food-chain. A little unrelated but maybe interesting nonetheless: The other day i saw a documentary on Discovery where they were looking for techniques to counter global warming. In this documentary specifically they tried pumping cold water from deep sea to the surface to make it cooler. Their test succeeded but they managed to disturb the food-chain in about 24 hours. Suddenly it attracted schools of fish eating away all the plankton. This caused some concern but they said immediately they will push through with the research implementing it on a large scale and see what happens. Also another documentary about the Asian carp which was implemented to counter a dominant fish which was (according to us) an imbalance. They ordered some Asian carps and released them in some lake in America and within a couple of years they multiplied exponentially and ate away the complete food-chain. When those lakes were empty and there was a flood which connected rivers and lakes at a point they crossed over and started destroying those lakes and rivers. This is now really causing a concern in the fishing-industry because all types of fish are simply gone and will never return. Sorry, that was a bit off topic but those were just a few examples where we think we can help nature out but instead are destroying it. And i think these stranded whales are a symptom of that, probably caused by us. Last Edited by Psych-old on 09/22/2010 12:13 PM |

He thinks that is the reason for all the beachings. Birds, whales, and many other creatures dependent on plankton and Oxygen... Banned pesticides should not be dumped into the ocean-it compromises the whole ecosystem and threatens any living organisms: human, or mammal, even insects cannot survive such intensity of pesticides....bigger lifeforms are prone to go much faster Also the whales are being tormented by new sonars...and some heavy attacks- Geomagnetics are also shifting- The waters are losing Oxygen...from Core Xit...and the hydrogen sulfides being released...these things PULL oxygen out of the waters and the air...sulfuric acid will be left with enough of this-the waters being bittered refers to sulfur...and this depleted oxygen-leading to many harmful gases even of decomposition- Bitter waters-cannot sustain life.
