He may be best known for captaining the Starship Enterprise, but William Shatner has also proven he's quite adept at driving small horse-drawn carriages. Of course he is. He's William Shatner.

Shatner unleashed his equestrian prowess during the opening ceremony of the World Equestrian Games in Lexington, Kentucky - the first time the prestigious horsey event has been held outside of Europe, at the Kentucky Horse Park that also hosts the famous Kentucky Derby.

Looking like a cross between Al Capone, the Man from Del Monte and William Shatner, William Shatner drove the carriage around the arena to cheers from the crowd. It would have had to be a joyless and hard-hearted crowd to not cheer William Shatner driving a horse-drawn carriage around, frankly. ...
