One sided threads

I for one am not a fan of these new options put in place for people who start threads being able to delete posts etc.

How can any sort of constructive thread ever happen when you just have the option to delete every post that you dont agree with.

Its as bad as a child blocking their ears and going "LALALALA im not listening" and gives an illusion to other readers that the person who started the thread is right or that a majority agree with them.

I thought one of the big upsides to this forum was that people could always see two sides to an argument or point of view which is a valuable thing to have in any sort of discussion. Now we are left with one sided threads & a medium for people to pass on their propaganda and feel smug about them self because everybody agrees with them.

Sure some will say if you dont agree with the thread & what people are saying then stay out if it but we are not children and in this world not everybody is going to agree with you and those people should be aloud to say their bit.

What ever happen to freedom of speech man......
