MMR shot and my personal experience - Need help to save my son

Thanks for that information and personal experience. My son tested on the spectrum, but apparently that is the routine default diagnosis when they are not sure of what the problem is. Got different answers from different docs every time. Looked at the list of symptoms and signs and clearly not a match for most everything, but an occasional hit here and there.

Hopefully by the time I finish reading this thread, I will have a good idea of what direction to go from here and will update as we work with him...

I am sorry to hear that you need to pursue mercury detoxification for your son.

I wish you every success with the detoxification of your son. I am very sorry that this is necessary.

Vitamins are like anything else, you get what you pay for. If you are talking about Centrum or One A Day, they are crap. They may help a dying person live another day, but they don't have quality ingredients. Vitamins and minerals come in different forms. Some are much more absorbable than others. Milk is not something you can count on for any nutrients. The calcium in it is not well absorbed and the casein protein messes up people's intestines and hinders absorption of all foods.

If you want a good multi vitamin that will do some good, go to the health food store. For example, pick up your present multi. It probably contains magnesium oxide as their form of magnesium. Magnesium oxide is not well absorbed by the body. That's what they use in laxatives because it passes through the body without being absorbed. Ever hear of Phillip's Milk of Magnesia? It's magnesium hydroxide, which is just magnesium oxide that has come in contact with water. It's great as a laxative, but useless as a form of magnesium as a nutrient for the body's chemical reactions.

Other vitamins and minerals are in the same boat. You have to pay attention and know a little about what forms of vitamins and minerals the body can absorb and assimilate. If you go to the health food store and talk with a knowledgeable person, they can help you select a good one. Good forms of magnesium are magnesium malate, taurate, glycinate and citrate. Magnesium oxide is only partly absorbable, you are lucky if you get maybe 10-15% of it.
Forget everything you've heard about vitamins from the tv and MSM, it's mostly garbage.

Yes it will in addition to other therapies such as Mycoplasma treatment and or mercury treatment.

Same here. Son was injured (in the US) @ 12 months (MMR).

We did "heavy lifting" with an ECI (early childhood intervention) service offered through our local MHMR (mental health and mental retardation)

We worked VERY hard with my son through his 3rd birthday with this ECI and then on our own afterwards.

My son is normal, intelligent and happy these days. He is 7. He does sometimes have some issues and his body is still very stiff (especially when you pick him up--he stiffens).

He doesn't like swings or heights and remains very sensitive but is well within the range of normal.

Oh---forgot to mention (didn't read all the posts so maybe someone else mentioned) fruit pectin for at home chelation of heavy metal detox.

Google it.

see if there is a DAN md practicing in your area. We took our daughter to one after years of struggle. They can really help you find out what the problem is (tests, etc...) and formulate a treatment plan based on the results.

Do you know what kind of rice liquor and where you can get it? It might not be a bad idea to add this to my survival kit.

The heavy lifting was a small vest with dried beans in the pockets and asking the child to do lots of "heavy lifting"--like pushing the toy box across the floor. Plus, there were lots of face to face floor interactions.

My son is doing so well now that his teachers do not know. He is a VERY high achiever academically but has social issues. He is just not very socially adept with the other kids.

I ran across a series of videos that is exactly what he has been doing for years. Please watch them. Anyone that is having behavioral problems with a child should watch them. The children in this film series were completely turned around.

No, you don't get it. Your post was rude. Quoting my advice on breastmilk and responding in such an argumentative way when it had nothing to do with your Vit D post was rude. You didn't need to quote me at all, you could have given your Vit D advice. The breastmilk is not about immune systems for this (it could be beneficial but probably not so much for an older child unless his immune system is undeveloped), it's about repairing the damage already done. It has been proven to repair damaged cells. Vit D preventing damage is great but has nothing to do with the breastmilk repairing it and I was putting out one of many options for OP to explore. Why you felt the need to jump on that to launch your pro-Vit D campaign as if your way is the only way I have no idea. BOTH ARE GOOD AND ONE DOESN'T REPLACE THE OTHER. GET IT? Quoting me as if what I was saying was inaccurate was RUDE. There is nothing wrong with what you're saying, I mostly agree other than I believe you should get blood levels checked before giving high levels of any vitamin especially when there are other health concerns and ASDs can be marked by a very weak immune system OR an overactive one so knowing that is important, the issue is that it had nothing to do with what I was saying about breastmilk. There was no need to quote me and try to negate what I was saying in an argumentative tone. BOTH are important. OP, you can buy liquid Vit D drops online at a vitamin shop and they're much easier for kids to swallow. I use them in the winter for my kids because they get far less sunlight and Vit D I give it as needed other times of the year if I think they're feeling bad, I and many others believe, is what keeps the flu and other illnesses at bay. It's no coincidence that flu strains go around during the winter when Vit D levels are low for most people. Vitamins and milk do not contain enough for most people and most vitamins are a waste of money. If you're not buying good vitamins then chances are most of the vitamin is going into the sewage system. Most of the popular brands don't digest easily. You do get what you pay for when it comes to multi-vitamins.

Ithink nightline 20/20 on eo f those shows recetnly did a show on this. Chelation therpy is the key. It literally transfuses the mercury out of the body. Google it mercury psoison-chelation therapy and it sohould bring up wher u need togo to -who to trust and with the results that u need. I have heard of great advancement w/this therapy. No thimerasol is mercury with a pseudonym intended to confuse us. Only plutonium could do more damage than the mercury they put in the toxic vaccines.

Thimerasol has proven to be a very poor preservative.
