A dead black bear was discovered outside of a California grocery store. The black bear was dumped in front of a San Leandro strip mall along the side of Interstate 580.

Black Bears: A Natural HistoryAZ Central reports that the dead black bear weighed around 300 pounds. Passengers in a white truck were spotted by eyewitnesses dumping the bear’s body and then driving away. A customer discovered the bear as he headed for the grocery store.

The customer who found the bear was an animal lover and outraged. When he asked the cops what he could do to catch the perps they said "Nothing. You will just have to grin and bear it"
