In other physical news, the IMF announced its month end gold sales and it turned out to be 18.5 tonnes (end of August). They also released the total gold sales sold onto the market and not to countries. This total is 106.8 tonnes of gold. The IMF has sold 240 tonnes of gold to India, Mauritius, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Altogether they have sold 346.8 tonnes out of 403. tonnes of gold. They have 56 tonnes of gold left and they are averaging 18 tonnes per month.
