A modern western city. A 12yo girl ...a ward of the state ( ie in government social care/ supervision. Was Prostituted by her carers. Living with them in a private home situation. She apparently met with 100 adult men as a prostitute. Her"pimps" / carers advertised her as an 18yo in newspaper advertisements. They have been jailed. A community uproar in Tasmania has developed, as the government legal advisers say it would not be good for the young girl to go to court and give evidence. The men' clients are it seems unchargeable as they were never told, or expected that their meet would be with a 12yo girl. They expected and were told that the girl was a woman of 17 or 18. Brothels are banned in the state of Tasmania. Now a query regarding her 15yo sister who is with baby has developed. Re is the father the adult carer of the family, who nowis in jail. The beauracracy supervising the girl's social protection is now until review, as is the female government Minister . It is a sad reflection of a modern fragmented family lifestyle. All of the above has been reported in Tasmanian newspapers. Not good for whom? Some of her government "clients" perhaps.. Some of this crap is really starting to make me want to just open up on full auto..  As his vision slowly cleared, the traveler came to the startling realization that he had been sitting by the side of the road, repeatedly hitting himself in the head with his walking staff. He had in fact been doing this for a quarter of a century. Shaking his head at his own folly, he dusted himself off, set his gaze upon the road up the mountain and once more set off upon his journey. |
