Hawaii Shakin'
Just got shook out of my seat while posting on a thread. Had to step outside to get my bearings. Just a 3.9. Felt bigger.

Re: Hawaii Shakin'
How common are earthquakes where you live?

Did it feel like a rolling earthquake or a shaking earthquake?

It was like a double whammy, shook and then shook again. I'm still a bit shaken.

Small, minute earthquakes happen around the volcanoes here all the time. But this one was distinct and shook.

I really don't know how y'all who live in earthquake prone areas stay there.

I grew up outside of Pittsburgh, nary a natural disaster happens there...perhaps a very rare tornado...mostly it's just crappy weather and cold winters.

Stay safe.

Not the volcano, too far north. Just some seismic adjustments. In my unprofessional opinion;)
