Autumn harvest of souls

When September came it brought a sense of dread. A voice whispered in my mind that death was coming to harvest souls. Since then three people I loved have died, as well as three family pets. I was there when my father-in-law died on the floor...the last breath, the last contact, the last brief touch was from my unworthy hand.
