Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1136686No, but there's a pic at the link of the pig with his knee in the dog's back ... the dog appears to be suffering, so you might enjoy it! Are you a cop? If not you might want to look into it as a new career ... |

I sometimes think at the time how it must feel to be a cop, or what goes through the mind of a cop, who shoots a dog because it's running toward him or barking... now not all cops go out shooting dogs or tazering at the first sign of trouble I'll grant you that... |

Maybe, then it will become too expensive to keep doing this. I am being to think it is a national police policy or something. Is this training from homeland security or something? and, the cop should lose his job and never ever be a cop again. |

Is this training from homeland security or something? and, the cop should lose his job and never ever be a cop again. I think you are right. For the past several years, law enforcement groups have been getting special additional training from FEMA, Blackwater & various other nasty bastards. Notice the proliferation of BLACK uniforms rather than the traditional dark blue ones? I read somewhere that this is to intimidate people, much like the Nazis used to do. This killing of peoples' dogs is certainly meant to intimidate and terrorize the public. I think they are trying to brainwash people into being cowed and afraid. These assholes have teargas cannisters and tazers they could use and many of these incidents have involved dogs that were very clearly no threat to the fucking cop or anyone else. Too bad there's not vigilante groups that would take on the task of getting even with these pricks. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1074927[link to www.ilovedogs.com] Rescue Dog Shot Dead By Cop at Crowded Street Festival Posted on 15. Sep, 2010 by Laura Goldman in NEWS Was last weekend’s shooting death of a dog by a police officer during a crowded street festival in Washington, D.C. justified? On Sunday, a Poodle mix and a Pit Bull-Shar Pei mix named Parrot got into a scuffle at the Adams Morgan Day festival. Aaron Block, Parrot’s owner, told the Washington Post that he had separated the dogs and was trying to calm Parrot when police officers arrived. In a statement, Block said Officer Scott Fike knocked him off of Parrot. As a photo taken by witness “Darcycat1” shows, Fike then kneed Parrot in the back and yanked the dog’s front paws underneath him. Lifting the dog by his neck and back, Fike then threw Parrot over a banister and down a 10-foot concrete stairwell. Block says that when his dog – who “doesn’t handle stairs well” and was 12 to 15 steps away from Fike – staggered to his feet, the officer shot and killed him. <snip> he is taking out something deemed bad in his life out on the dog... sad but true... most cops at least the male ones...were made fun of a lot in school.... |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1152641 Australia 11/04/2010 06:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's pretty simple, your dog acts aggresively around a cop, cop shoots dog. If you're dog can't behave itself keep it inside your house. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1152439The dog was in a fight with another dog. That happens, dogs LIKE fighting. There is no indication that either dog was aggressive to humans. Do you really think that after every dog fight, one of the dogs should be shot and killed? What about the other dog???? Dogs fighting each other is normal behaviour. Dogs should not be executed for this. |

Federal Officer Shoots Family Pet in Dog Park Posted on 04. Aug, 2010 by Laura Goldman in NEWS As Bear-Bear, a 3-year-old Siberian Husky, played in a Severn, Md., dog park early Monday evening, a leashed German Shepherd brought by an off-duty federal police officer and his wife entered the park. When Bear-Bear and the German Shepherd began to play roughly, the police officer asked the Husky’s owners to call him away. Before Bear-Bear’s owners could do anything, the officer pulled out a gun and shot their dog. Bear-Bear died a few hours later. The Anne Arundel County police department announced it would not file any charges against the officer, nor will it release his name or any information about him, which has outraged animal lovers and raised safety concerns. Quoting: X 1154792My hatrid of pitbull owners grows daily...the frikin' things were bred to fight, to bring one to a STREETFAIR? If I had the power I would make a law to the effect that animal owners were responsible for thier animals to the extent that whatever your animal does it as is if you did it yourself...if your pitbull attacks somebody then YOU go to jail... that would take care of irresponsible attitudes! most people who own pitbulls just do it because they think they are cool...the whole image thing...trying to appear 'tough' A pitbull to a street fair...what an asshole! HE should have been thrown down the stairs... |
