THE .45 COLT SUCKS!! HERESY?!? LISTEN UP BEFORE YOU BLOW A GASKET. | |

If you like the .45ACP you'll appreciate his logic. All the benefits of the .45ACP in a revolver without having to use the moon clips. And if you need to use .45ACP in it, you can use moon clips! It's quite possibly the best CC option for me. I love the .45ACP and I love revolvers. Having a pistol that can take both and be as concealable and reliable as a medium sized revolver can be is about to become my new Grail. Thanks GLP, you led me too this ^_^. Time to stump for the .45AR and build something beautiful. |

I own both, and find the 1911 more accurate with the slower .45 round. Yeah, the .357 is about as perfect a revolver cartridge as you can ask for. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1087158Plenty of power to take out the bad guys but it won't go through 2 or 3 walls and hit a family member. Umm, you've seen drywall right? A .45 Colt will penetrate more than 3 sheets. If you miss inside a house there's ALWAYS the risk of hitting someone that you're not intending too. |

949069 (OP) User ID: 1155349 United States 11/08/2010 12:46 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The .45AR/ACP revolver is good for me because I'm trying to keep it at one caliber. For my purposes the revolver chambering would be an excellent choice for concealment. The smaller profile of the grip/frame is excellent for work or hot weather. Wearing a vest everyday does get a little old. |
